Electrical services
The jobs we actually get called for, in and around North Conway. If yours is not on the list, it is worth a phone call anyway.
Panel and service upgrades
Most houses up here were wired for a lot less than a modern kitchen, a heat pump and a car charger. Upgrading to a 200 amp service is usually a one day job, and it is the thing that makes everything else possible.
Generator hookups
A transfer switch so a portable generator can run the circuits that matter, or full wiring for a standby unit. Done properly, so nothing backfeeds onto the line while a crew is working on it.
EV charger installation
A Level 2 charger in the garage or on the outside wall, on its own circuit. We will tell you honestly whether your existing panel can take it before anything is ordered.
Old wiring replacement
Knob and tube, cloth-wrapped wiring, ungrounded two prong outlets. Common in valley houses and worth dealing with room by room rather than all at once.
Lighting and outlets
Recessed lighting, outdoor and security lights, ceiling fans, extra outlets where you keep running an extension lead, GFCI protection in kitchens, baths and outside.
Troubleshooting and repairs
Breakers that trip, outlets that died, flickering lights, a hot switch plate. Finding it is most of the work, and we would rather find it than replace things hoping.
Well and septic pump circuits
Wiring and repair for well pumps, pressure switches and septic pumps. On a rural property this is the circuit you notice fastest when it fails.
Home sale electrical work
Inspection items written up before a closing, handled quickly and documented so the buyer's agent has something to point at.
Not sure which you need?
Describe what is happening and we will tell you whether it is a service call, a bigger job, or something you do not need to spend money on yet. That conversation costs nothing.
